I love the idea of something that's overlooked being the source of beauty - objects that have naturally changed their course through rust, rot, weather, and which unveil stories and unlock memories exposing our personal lives.

Nature is the anchor for my life and my creativity. Being constantly aware of my surroundings inspires me spiritually, physically, literally, and abstractly. I create art that shows my respect and reverence for nature's beauty. Depending on my message, my media choices include watercolor, mixed media, acrylic, fibers, or pencil. I usually work in a series to capture the variations of colors and values, details and diffusions, patterns and textures of a particular subject.
